Investments

The Investment Banking portfolio consists of assets under management for funds of clients alongside the Banks own funds in assets across the globe, primarily in real estate but also in infrastructure development projects as well as technology. More recently the Bank has outsourced the role of asset management of such funds to a leading Investment Bank to source orderly exit solutions on the Banks behalf.

Whilst the Bank envisages a gradual decline in its role of assets under management for client through potential exits, the Investment Banking role has been shifting towards management of remedial assets with the objective of to maximizing potential recoveries for assets owned by the Bank.

The Investment Banking unit has further recently been assimilated within the Treasury Department to bring together collective expertise and enhanced synergies.
